With only a few hundred rupees and a dream, Madhav Agasti set forth on a transformative journey. He travelled to various cities, mastering the nuances from the rich tailoring traditions of Aligarh to the regal elegance of Lucknow and the artistic energy of Chennai.
Madhav Agasti opened his first shop in Dadar called “Madhav's Men's Modes.” He got the opportunity to work on his first Bollywood film 'Apne Parai.' The legend’s breakthrough however came with designing iconic costumes for Bollywood films, including the legendary Mogambo costume for "Mr India."
In 2012, he renamed Madhav's Men's Modes to 'MMM' marking a transition towards fresh concepts and innovative designs while upholding the same pursuit of perfection.
Madhav's passion and a keen eye for detail makes him the go-to for customised menswear, attracting stars, politicians, industrialists and global icons alike. Through it all, his mission remains constant: delivering the perfect fit.

As a boy enchanted by fashion, he apprenticed at a local shop after school, where he refined his artistry with dedication, nurturing aspirations of dressing the icons of Hindi cinema. In the pivotal year of 1969, he embarked on a journey across India, mastering his trade. Settling in Mumbai, he worked under a Bollywood designer. From his humble beginnings with a small store in Dadar to gracing stars in legendary films, Madhav's journey solidified his status as a bespoke artisan. Today, his legacy encompasses nearly 400 cinematic masterpieces, adorning the stars of Bollywood with his impeccable craftsmanship.
